President – Shannon Reimer
Shannon Reimer grew up in Modesto, CA and attended the University of San Francisco on a soccer scholarship. During her time in San Francisco, Shannon was a part of the American Marketing Association, SFBig, and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing. After graduating, she moved to Monterey to be with her family and now works as a Marketing Coordinator for McGraw-Hill Education CTB. In her spare time, Shannon volunteers as an assistant soccer coach for Seaside High School girls soccer team. She has been with the Monterey County Young Professionals Group for two years now. When she isn’t working, you can find her with her chocolate lab Louis.

Past President – Casey Cope
Casey Cope is originally from Dallas but moved to Monterey Bay in December 2011. She has a Master’s degree in Accounting from Abilene Christian University. Currently, Casey works as the Assistant Controller at Pebble Beach Company. In addition to MCYPG, Casey is actively involved in the Relay for Life, Salinas Valley Food & Wine Festival and her church. When she’s not working, Casey likes to take her mini-husky Rooney to the beach and watch the Dallas professional sports teams beat California teams.

Christy graduated from Occidental College with a B.A. in Film. She currently works for Cal State Monterey Bay as a Communications Coordinator. Christy is also the Co Founder of Erica and Charles Consulting.
Director of Special Events, Membership Development, and Social Activities – Coty Burnett
Assistant Director – Allison Roberson
Allison Roberson grew up in Salinas, CA. She attended Saint Mary’s College where she majored in Health & Human Performance. She currently works as an athletic trainer at Hartnell College and Myers Physical Therapy in Salinas. Allison is also active in Junior League of Monterey County and is also a member of the board for the Salinas Valley Food & Wine Festival.
Assistant Director – Jared Wiegand
Jared Wiegand is a native of Monterey but split his childhood years between Monterey and the Rochester, New York suburb of Webster. After graduating from Monterey High School, he attended The Citadel graduating with a degree in business administration and a minor in Spanish. Jared returned to Monterey after graduation, and joined his family’s collision repair business at Caliber Collision. Jared has served on the MCYPG board for 2 years and served on the Salinas Jaycees board for 3 years. In his free time, Jared likes to run various outdoor activities and spend time with family and friends.
Assistant Director – Kort Holzwart
Kort Holzwart was born and raised in beautiful Salinas, CA. He attended California State University, Fresno where he achieved a BS in Agricultural Economics. Kort currently works sales for the Shamrock Seed Company here in the Monterey County. This is Kort’s first time on the MCYPG board and he is ecstatic about it.
Assistant Director – Krishna Patel
Krishna is a graduate of California State University, East Bay. She has a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting. For the last 10 years Krishna has worked in the Accounting field in the Monterey area. She is an active volunteer and non profit board participant for a handful of local organizations, now including MCYPG. Currently she works for Hayashi Wayland in their Salinas office.
